Migrato, a Netherlands-based company specializing in processing unstructured data, faced a challenge when new Dutch Open Government Legislation required public bodies to proactively publish documents after redacting all personal information. Their existing tool lacked the performance and scalability to handle the high volume of documents while ensuring GDPR compliance. To address this, Migrato partnered with vendor IBM and utilized the IBM Watson Natural Language Processing Library for Embed.

By co-creating with the IBM Build Lab, Migrato rapidly integrated IBM's embeddable AI to enhance its Intelligent Content Classifier application. This solution from IBM enabled far faster and more accurate processing of unstructured data to identify and redact sensitive information. The results were significant, with 70% of development work completed in just a few hours and a full production solution launched within five days, positioning Migrato to help over 400 government clients meet the new regulatory requirements.
