How Liberkee Puts Dev+Ops in the Driver’s Seat

Liberkee (formerly Huf Secure Mobile) offers mobile, keyless access and fleet-management applications for car rental and sharing providers. Facing a sprawling on‑prem environment of roughly 300 VMs and hundreds of services with fragmented monitoring, slow alerting, and manual log inspection, Liberkee needed to move to containers/Kubernetes and adopt application performance management to get proactive visibility and reduce operational overhead. To solve this they evaluated APM tools and selected IBM Instana (Instana) for its automated discovery and alerting capabilities.

Liberkee deployed Instana agents across critical systems (a one‑line curl install) and had first traces and metrics in under 60 minutes, then built custom Smart Alerts, Release Markers and dashboards within days.
