The International Olympic Committee’s Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games needed to deliver an immersive, multichannel digital experience for over 200,000 expected spectators. The IOC wanted to engage audiences with event and athlete news, real‑time results, multimedia, ticketing and logistics across web, mobile, TV and print—on a tight schedule and with multilingual, multisite requirements.

Seeds Consulting (with Netlife Research) implemented eZ Publish as a central CMS, building four tailored websites, award‑winning iOS/Android apps with geofencing, and automated feeds for TV and printable schedules. The unified solution boosted engagement, produced a Top‑10 App Store app, streamlined editorial and translation workflows, and helped drive record attendance and broader adoption as a benchmark for event digital experiences.
