A Ibexa Case Study

Preview of the The Christian Science Monitor Case Study

The Christian Science Monitor organizes 500,000+ articles with Ibexa

The Christian Science Monitor, an international news organization, needed to publish its daily print edition completely online with an efficient and intuitive system. Their challenge involved enabling dozens of editors and contributors to add content from a centralized location around the clock, requiring high availability and dynamic content management. They partnered with vendor Ibexa, using Ibexa Experience, to overcome these hurdles.

Ibexa, implemented with the help of partner Mugo Web, provided the out-of-the-box functionality needed for more effective content organization. The solution included a massive migration of over 500,000 articles and customization of Ibexa's editing and workflow interfaces. This greatly expanded functionality on both the backend and front-facing site, enabling the Monitor to dynamically grow its content, empower its staff, and engage readers across multiple channels including Kindle.
