Sonic Healthcare Germany launches B2B multishop in 6 months with Ibexa

Sonic Healthcare Germany, a provider of laboratory diagnostic services, needed a multishop B2B platform to equip its individual laboratories with their own online stores for medical practices and hospitals to order supplies. They partnered with Ibexa and its implementation partner, silver.solutions, to use Ibexa DXP and Ibexa Commerce to create a centralized system that could quickly generate new, tailored shops.

The solution from Ibexa and silver.solutions was a multishop platform where new, fully-formed online shops can be generated at the push of a button. It integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX for real-time product data and pricing, and featured pre-filtered product catalogs and shopping basket templates to drastically shorten the ordering process for customers. This project automated and streamlined purchasing, and gave Sonic Healthcare Germany the flexibility to rapidly launch new, customized sub-shops for additional laboratories.
