ORTHEG Purchasing Cooperative Cross-channel e-commerce and ERP integration

ORTHEG is a purchasing cooperative for medical supply shops and orthopaedic workshops in the healthcare/pharma sector that needed a low-cost, easy-to-deploy online presence for its roughly 300 members while ensuring centrally maintained, legally compliant product information and seamless integration with its ERP. The challenge was to provide customizable member shops that reflect individual branding and pricing but rely on up-to-date product data, images and documents centrally managed by the cooperative.

Using silver.solutions’ silver.eShop Multishop on the Ibexa Experience platform with Microsoft Dynamics NAV integration, ORTHEG implemented a cross-channel e-commerce platform that feeds product data in real time from the ERP, lets members customize stores or upgrade to a Premium Package to add their own products and media, and automates order confirmations, invoicing and split-order processing. The result: members gain a cost-effective, professionally maintained e-commerce channel with automated logistics and backend processing, current content and flexible delivery or pickup options.
