Case Study: French Golfing Federation increases membership by 20,000 and boosts revenue with Ibexa

A Ibexa Case Study

Preview of the French Golfing Federation Case Study

Ibexa hits hole-in-one for French golf

The Fédération Française de Golf (ffgolf), which represents around 420,000 amateur golfers, needed to modernize its digital presence to retain and recruit members (the bulk of its revenue). Key challenges included delivering rich, multichannel content and member services, absorbing large traffic spikes during tournaments, improving search and geolocation features, and speeding up content and site creation while ramping up social media activity.

ffgolf migrated from eZ Publish to eZ Platform/Ibexa DXP (1.7 with Legacy Bridge), implemented APIs, SSO, embedded event and location search, and an intuitive backend for ~30 contributors to manage 130 content types. The new DXP stabilized performance at 250k–400k monthly unique visitors (tens of millions of page views), increased advertising revenue and commercial partnerships, and helped grow membership by about 20,000, with further personalization planned via upcoming Ibexa upgrades.
