Essilor, part of the EssilorLuxottica group and the world’s largest ophthalmic lens manufacturer (€14.4B revenue in 2020), needed to unify fragmented product messaging across 22 European markets and multiple languages, support markets with varying digital maturity, and drive consumers to partnered opticians through store-finding and booking capabilities.

Working with Kaliop, Essilor rebuilt its presence on Ibexa DXP after a design sprint and agile rollout, launching an MVP and scaling to 16 markets (targeting 22 by end of 2020). The platform enabled rapid, consistent multi‑language content deployment, fast country rollouts (under two weeks), store locator and booking features, and personalized customer journeys—resulting in quicker time-to-market, increased footfall for partners, and more flexible local content management.
