A Ibexa Case Study

Preview of the CMS Law Case Study

CMS upgraded to the latest version of eZ Platform to ensure long term support, improved performance and provide a better user experience for editors

CMS Legal Services, the central web, marketing and tech unit for CMS (one of the world’s largest law firms with 70+ offices in 40+ countries), needed to modernize a sprawling set of sites so each country could publish jurisdiction‑specific, multilingual content. Key challenges included consolidating multiple sites, supporting translations and regional “child” sites, managing 40+ editors with granular permissions and workflows, and moving to a long‑term supported platform with better performance—especially for mobile.

Working with ETECTURE, CMS migrated to the latest eZ Platform, leveraging its multisite/multilingual features plus the Landing Page and Form Builders, role-based workflows, and drag‑and‑drop editing. The result is a single trusted content repository that makes localization and sharing easier, reduces template overhead, speeds mobile downloads, minimizes editor training, and delivers a future‑proof, long‑term supported publishing platform.
