Christian Science Monitor - Customer Case Study

The Christian Science Monitor, a global news organization, was moving its daily print edition entirely online and needed a centralized, around‑the‑clock publishing system. With dozens of editors, multiple permission levels, high traffic and availability requirements, constant feature rollout and more than 20 years of archival content to manage (500,000+ articles), the Monitor needed a more effective content organization and editorial workflow.

Mugo Web implemented Ibexa Experience, leveraging out‑of‑the‑box functionality and customizing editing and workflow interfaces while reshaping the content model. The project included a massive content migration, new dynamic displays, sections and layout blocks, and multichannel syndication (Kindle, AP, Canwest), resulting in faster, more flexible publishing, expanded backend and front‑end capabilities, and improved staff productivity and reader engagement.
