Bürkert Fluid Control Systems, a global manufacturer of measuring, controlling and regulating systems for liquids and gases, commissioned silver.solutions to build a multilingual, multi-country e-commerce site and comprehensive B2B shop. The challenge was to deliver a user-centric, responsive website serving 29 countries in 16 languages while integrating complex back-end systems (PIM, MAM, SAP) and supporting extensive B2B functionality and editorial roles.

silver.solutions implemented the site on Ibexa with a modern responsive front end, role-based content management for editors in 27 countries, real-time SAP access via ESB, PIM/MAM integrations, advanced search and RMA workflows, plus performance scaling (clustering and Akamai). The result: online ordering in Germany, the UK, Spain and the Netherlands, an online catalogue of 5,000+ items (and 300,000 via quick-order), 16-language coverage across 29 countries, and a 24/7, device‑agnostic B2B experience with seamless back-end connectivity.
