Bouygues Télécom needed a robust way to manage and publish large volumes of structured content across channels for its customer advisors. The challenge was to consolidate three major content sets—mobile phones, working instructions and commercial offers—updated daily by multiple teams, while supporting complex validation workflows, fine-grained permissions, J2EE integration and personalized delivery to more than 2,000 advisor users.
Smile implemented the DIM (Diffusion d’Information Multi‑canal) repository on Ibexa Experience, modeling items with rich structured fields (e.g., 200+ attributes for a phone), multi-stage validation, detailed permission controls and static publishing into J2EE apps. Deployed in a clustered architecture for high availability and scalability, the solution also added extensible synonym handling in the native search engine and now reliably serves over 2,000 customer advisors.
