Case Study: KitchenAid achieves rapid global website rollout and faster content publishing with Ibexa

A Ibexa Case Study

Preview of the KitchenAid Case Study

Bauknecht, KitchenAid and Whirlpool Web Sites Delivering better customer experiences

KitchenAid, the American kitchen appliances brand owned by Whirlpool, needed to improve its online customer experience as ecommerce and content marketing grew across 15+ countries. The previous CMS version strained editors and developers: integrations (catalogs and third-party APIs) were difficult, multi-site content replication was slow, and managing an increasing number of sites on one installation hindered fast, consistent product storytelling.

KitchenAid upgraded to the latest Ibexa (Symfony-based) to use modular, reusable content and smoother API integrations (e.g., Google APIs for events), simplifying multi-site management and speeding editorial workflows. In just over a year they rolled out 17 websites in 14 languages, enabled sales of small appliances across all countries, reduced time and cost for new pages and campaigns, and saw a solid increase in worldwide sales while continuing to focus on personalization.
