Sikorsky Aircraft partnered with iBase-t to address a major receiving and quality bottleneck in its aerospace supply chain. Parts were taking about 90 days to become usable on the shop floor, while more than 40 people were tied up in manual receiving inspection and millions were being spent on outside inspectors.

iBase-t implemented a web-based, real-time quality validation solution that let suppliers submit quality requirements digitally, report non-conformances immediately, and support automated AS9100 compliance and corrective actions. As a result, Sikorsky reduced throughput time from 90 days to 1 week, cut inspection staffing from 40+ to 7–9, lowered defects, and saved millions in labor and contract inspection costs while improving supplier accountability.
