Idaho Health Data Exchange Migrates to New HIE Platform with Help from Iatric Systems Professional Services

Idaho Health Data Exchange (IHDE), the not-for-profit statewide HIE serving Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Eastern Oregon, needed to replace its legacy HIE platform and manage a rare vendor-to-vendor migration. After reviewing 22 vendors and recognizing the complexity of the RFP and transition, IHDE engaged Iatric Systems Professional Services to help with vendor evaluation, RFP development, and selection support.

Iatric Systems provided vendor analysis, technical services, data migration, and day-to-day project management to implement a more dynamic HIE. As a result, more than 100 Idaho healthcare organizations will connect to the new platform, giving clinicians immediate, secure access to consolidated patient records, reducing duplicate tests, prescriptions, visits, and helping providers meet Meaningful Use—improving the speed, quality, safety, and cost of care. Iatric Systems’ HIE transition experience accelerated and de-risked the migration.
