Taipei partnered with IAdea to extend smart-city services to public transit, deploying a 4G-enabled Digital Out‑of‑Home (DOOH) signage system at major bus stations to support real‑time infotainment and connectivity. The city needed uninterrupted, weather‑proof performance in a compact, fanless form factor and firmware that would integrate with a local media content platform and existing station infrastructure; IAdea’s XMP-7300 media player was chosen to meet those requirements.

IAdea delivered a one‑stop solution combining the XMP-7300 hardware, customized industrial firmware, flexible business packages and in‑house support to ensure reliable operation up to 50°C and smooth interoperability. The deployment has resulted in 85+ smart bus stops across Taipei and Kaohsiung, free 4G access for travelers, high client satisfaction and new collaboration opportunities—bringing Taipei closer to its goal of becoming a model Smart City.
