Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport (King Bus), a major 24/7 Taiwanese bus operator, faced the challenge of guiding heavy passenger flows at its new Taipei Main Station transport center while maintaining a streamlined counter design with no space for traditional promotional material. To meet needs for reliable, future-proof signage that could extend from the station to in-vehicle screens, Kuo-Kuang selected IAdea and its digital signage platform including the IAdea XDS-2170 counter-top Smart Signboards and the SignApps network management utility.

IAdea deployed four 22" XDS-2170 counter-top smart signboards with PowerPoint rendering and SignApps management, providing eye-level, programmable displays protected by tempered glass. The IAdea solution reduced perceived wait times at the March 24 opening, operated 100% around the clock, strengthened King Bus’s brand by delivering service info and local recommendations, eliminated printed pamphlets to cut the company’s carbon footprint, and is now being rolled out to other locations.
