EcoMedia teamed with IAdea to make Latvia’s AS “Nordeka” intercity rides safer and more engaging by replacing static out‑of‑home ads with a dynamic onboard information channel. The challenge was to entertain passengers, deliver timely travel and safety messages, and drive engagement on long bus journeys—tasks that EcoMedia solved by deploying an IAdea‑powered passenger information system (PIS).

IAdea provided all‑in‑one smart signboards (deployed across 100 buses) that broadcast the EcoMedia channel in full HD with rugged, transit‑grade hardware. The IAdea solution helped improve passenger safety (drivers report more passengers fastening seat belts after CSDD messaging), drove a 5× increase in lottery participation for a hockey promotion, and boosted advertiser ROI by enabling passengers to shop directly from the bus via free Wi‑Fi—overall noticeably improving service and engagement on Nordeka routes.
