Cosentino's Food Stores, a Kansas City-based grocery chain, faced significant challenges from organized retail crime and theft, which are particularly damaging in an industry with narrow profit margins. To proactively address this issue and enhance security, Cosentino's partnered with vendor i3 International to implement their i3Ai Sentry solution, a facial recognition feature within their Cloud Managed Services.

The i3Ai Sentry solution was integrated with Cosentino's existing camera systems across 27 locations. The implementation led to the identification of numerous persons of interest, aiding in criminal investigations and helping to deter theft.
