A i-Sprint Innovations Case Study
The Most Profitable Bank in Japan faced rising cost and complexity from multiple application security silos, high volumes of password resets and related downtime, slow application onboarding, and a need to raise customer-service levels to global benchmarks. The Bank engaged i-Sprint to address these issues using its AccessMatrix™ Universal Sign-On (USO) single sign-on solution.
i-Sprint applied its security consolidation methodology and deployed AccessMatrix USO integrated with the Bank’s Microsoft Active Directory and SQL Server (no source-code changes), delivering SSO and a single point of administration in a matter of weeks. The rollout (begun May 2002, first app live December 2002) now supports over 5,000 internal users daily, reduced password-reset requests and user downtime, accelerated application deployments, and consolidated access management across the enterprise.
