Global Fintech Company, a payments and POS leader with ~35,000 employees and 20 million customers, faced fragmented legacy MFA after an acquisition, high costs from password resets and physical security keys, and the need for phishing-resistant, user-friendly authentication that works on desktops, cloud apps, remote and offline environments. To meet these requirements they selected HYPR and its Passwordless MFA/True Passwordless™ MFA platform.

HYPR deployed passwordless authentication for desktop and VPN access, expanded to VDI and admin platforms, and supported YubiKey enrollment for call-center staff, providing offline and device-interoperable authentication with user-initiated flows to eliminate push fatigue. As a result HYPR consolidated three MFA tools, rolled out to 10,000+ users across four countries (and ultimately tens of thousands of employees), cut password reset costs and reliance on costly security keys, and reduced exposure to phishing and account takeover while simplifying deployment and management.
