Aço e Ferro, a Brazilian scrapyard, was unable to keep up with its daily metal cutting volume. Its existing oxyfuel process was too slow and raised significant safety concerns due to its use of highly flammable gas. This capacity constraint was causing the company to lose business.

The result was a 300% increase in productivity, enabling a single operator to cut three tons per day compared to the previous maximum of 900 kilos, while also improving cut quality and safety.
