Sargent burns double the parts with the XPR300

Sargent Corporation, a construction and infrastructure company, faced a production bottleneck due to its old, slow burn table that could not keep up with increasing demand for excavator attachments. To resolve this challenge, they turned to Hypertherm for a new cutting solution.

Hypertherm implemented its XPR300 plasma cutting system with ProNest nesting software and True Hole technology. This solution provided the speed, accuracy, and ease of use Sargent required, allowing them to more than double the number of parts cut each day. The elimination of dross removed the need for secondary work, and the system's ability to create bolt-ready holes greatly increased overall efficiency. The team at Sargent reported being very impressed with the quality and the quantity of pieces produced by the Hypertherm system.
