A.J. Forsyth more than doubles productivity with HyPerformance Plasma technology

A.J. Forsyth, a steel service center, was facing long lead times and lost business due to outdated cutting equipment that limited its high-volume production. Their inability to meet customer requests for fast turnaround times prompted them to seek a solution from Hypertherm.

Hypertherm implemented a solution by upgrading the customer's cutting system with HyPerformance HPRXD plasma technology, including an HPR400XD. This more than doubled the company's productivity, increasing weekly cutting time from 116 to 232 hours and improving cut speeds from 400 to 1000 inches per minute. The upgrade significantly reduced lead times, improved customer satisfaction, and is expected to pay for itself in under a year.
