A HyperOffice Case Study
ClinicAid, a boutique contract research organization serving healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical clients, needed a secure, highly compliant collaboration platform to support regulated drug development. Its existing workflows were fragmented across email, Word documents, and MS Project, creating scheduling conflicts, limited visibility, and poor cross-team coordination. After finding most alternatives too narrow or expensive, ClinicAid evaluated HyperOffice as a more comprehensive collaboration suite with email, CRM, project management, document management, and conferencing capabilities.
HyperOffice implemented a secure, integrated collaboration environment with version control, audit trails, encryption, permissions, shared calendars, project tracking, and customizable intranet/extranet “microsites.” The rollout was fast, required little training, and improved mobility, accessibility, and real-time coordination across employees and vendors. HyperOffice also delivered major measurable savings: ClinicAid avoided a planned $30,000 Exchange-based setup and reported about $28,000 in first-year savings, which it redirected into sales and marketing that helped generate new contract awards.
