How Clearstar Saved Thousands Using Onchain Automation

Clearstar Labs, a Switzerland-based multistrategy crypto portfolio manager, faced the inherent challenge of smart contract risk and needing to rapidly respond to onchain threats to protect its assets. The company implemented a solution using Hypernative's real-time monitoring platform in partnership with Fordefi's wallet and CARE (Continuous Automated Response Engine) automation.

The solution involved using Hypernative to monitor for threats and automatically trigger a pre-recorded exit transaction on Fordefi when a hack was detected. As a result, Clearstar successfully and automatically unwound its position in a hacked DeFi protocol, saving thousands of dollars in funds. Hypernative's platform is noted for its high accuracy, having detected 99.5% of hacks the previous year and saved over $500 million in funds to date.
