The solution implemented by Hyperledger was to build a community around the donated code, creating Hyperledger FireFly as the first open source Supernode. This provided a complete tech stack for building Web3 applications, eliminating the need for expensive custom code. The results were significant, with enterprises able to get to production 50-100x faster and save 90% or more on development costs. This next-gen approach allowed projects to focus on their business logic and achieve a rapid return on investment.
