A HyperGrid Case Study
The Global Telecommunications Company, a major Middle Eastern telecom provider, was struggling to meet rising demand for cloud services such as PaaS, VDIaaS, and DBaaS. Building the offering in-house would have taken years and required heavy investment, while using a public cloud vendor was not feasible because of data location and security concerns. HyperGrid’s HyperCloud service was used to address this challenge.
HyperGrid implemented a complete cloud infrastructure stack with fast, automated deployment and an in-country environment tailored to the customer’s security needs. The solution cut time to market from over two years to just one quarter, delivered a full portfolio of services including IaaS, VDIaaS, and DBaaS, and provided about 50% cost savings versus public cloud. HyperGrid also helped the customer avoid an estimated $20 million in build costs over three years.
