Dynacare, a large North American clinical lab and health services provider transitioning from a lab to a health solutions company, needed a way to tap frontline insight, align a geographically dispersed workforce, and drive priorities like digitization, consumer engagement, and cost reduction. To capture employee ideas and increase engagement, Dynacare partnered with Hypercontext to deploy an employee collaboration and idea program.
Hypercontext’s platform framed conversations around Dynacare’s three objectives and provided real‑time tracking, governance, and reporting; Dynacare also appointed program managers and leaders to drive adoption. In six months the program drove 699 active users, 460 ideas, 21 completed ideas and a 29% adoption rate, with idea distribution of 40% (costs/operations), 36% (digitization) and 24% (consumer engagement). Actioned improvements include a medical terminology course, making the intranet the default browser landing page, and alternate-name test lookups — all credited with higher transparency, motivation, and alignment across the organization.
