Preview of the Supermajority Case Study

Supermajority revitalizes two brands in 2022 with Hyperakt

Supermajority, an organization dedicated to women's empowerment, faced a significant challenge after the 2020 election. Having originally formed in response to the 2016 election, the brand lost its direction and purpose following the political shift. They needed to renew their mission and clarify the distinct roles of their two legal entities, a 501c3 for education and a 501c4 for political action. They engaged the vendor Hyperakt for a comprehensive brand transformation.

Hyperakt developed a dual-brand strategy to clearly differentiate the two entities. For the political action 501c4, they created a powerful and edgy visual identity using hot pink and orange with raw, moving photography. For the educational 501c3, they crafted a warm and encouraging identity with pastels and imagery of community. This strategic clarity allowed Supermajority to effectively serve its audiences with distinct purposes, reinvigorating the organization's mission.
