Chubb Insurance, the 11th largest property and casualty insurer in the U.S. with more than 10,000 employees across 120 offices in 28 countries, needed to accelerate profitable growth by improving speed, agility and companywide collaboration. The firm’s challenge was turning quality ideas into market-ready products quickly despite geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams, with a three-month goal to identify viable new revenue opportunities.

Chubb deployed Planbox’s web-based Innovation Central for a one-month global ideation event, collecting 607 ideas with 35% participation across regions. The program filtered ideas down to 24 finalists, with two of the top concepts already funded and under development, and created a pipeline for follow-up events targeting agents and internal problem-solving.
