Bobcat Company, a Doosan Group leader in compact equipment with about 3,000 employees, set out to redefine the industry by developing the world’s first all‑electric compact track loader, the T7X. The challenge was to translate ambitious sustainability and performance goals into a practical machine that meets real‑world construction needs while reducing noise, emissions and maintenance burdens.

Using the Planbox platform to run idea and cost‑savings challenges, Bobcat turned employee insights into the T7X, delivering peak multifunction performance, near‑silent zero‑emission operation, 50% fewer parts and 96% less fluid—driving lower operational costs, improved safety and greater operator comfort. The T7X secured a strategic Sunbelt Rentals rollout across 1,025+ locations in North America and Europe and earned two CES Innovation Awards (2022) plus finalist recognition in the Innovation Leader 2023 Impact Awards, positioning the machine for broader global expansion.
