Goodyear, a world leader in tire manufacturing, faced the challenge of driving innovation throughout its value chain and strengthening bonds with its suppliers. To tackle specific technical challenges, they partnered with vendor HYPE Innovation and utilized its External Access Module for Planbox’s Innovation Central platform to facilitate open innovation.

HYPE Innovation designed and managed a six-week Supplier Innovation Event32 strategic suppliers, who logged 195 responses through a secure portal. This created a productive and efficient environment for collaborative problem-solving, successfully establishing a new channel for joint innovation within Goodyear's supply chain.
