Case Study: Casa Pellas achieves enterprise-wide innovation and $1M+ new revenue with HYPE Innovation

A HYPE Innovation Case Study

Preview of the Casa Pellas Case Study

Generating cost savings and disruptive innovations

Casa Pellas, a diverse automotive conglomerate in Nicaragua managing Toyota dealerships and service centers, lacked a corporate-wide innovation program—innovation was paper-based and confined to one 180-person department, producing only small incremental improvements (97 ideas, 23 implemented) and no breakthrough initiatives needed to meet growth goals.

By deploying HYPE’s enterprise innovation platform and scaling Kaizen across 1,000 employees with training, campaigns and incentives, Casa Pellas captured 2,061 ideas in 18 months, with 1,011 approved and 868 implemented (about a tenfold increase). The program produced six radical innovations—three generating over $1M each—spurred meaningful cultural change and created disruptive opportunities such as at‑home or workplace car servicing.
