Al Rajhi Bank, the world’s largest Islamic banking group and one of Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing banks, needed to make breakthrough innovation a core priority across its nine business units. With 8,000 employees worldwide and a multilingual workforce, the bank sought a way to surface high-impact ideas that would drive material revenue growth and cost reduction rather than just incremental suggestions.
The bank implemented HYPE’s idea-management platform mirrored in Arabic and English and went live enterprise-wide, running nine targeted campaigns in the first six months. More than 1,000 employees participated, and a robust selection process has put nine high-value innovations into implementation, while empowering staff, capturing additional ideas for future use, and offering rewards for concepts that deliver material business impact.
