The London Clinic's journey to a single patient view with Hyland's OnBase

The London Clinic, a private independent hospital and charity, needed to replace an outdated 1998 bespoke medical record system and create a single view of treatment summaries across multiple clinical systems. It also wanted to modernize workflows with single sign-on, scanning, HL7 integration, automated form preparation, and electronic forms using Hyland’s OnBase.

Hyland implemented OnBase in an incremental rollout, starting with the Patient Window in 2022 and adding patient packet automation, electronic forms, and PACS integration in 2023. The result was improved accessibility and usability, major time savings, reduced medical records backlog, increased scanning capacity, and more streamlined processes, with further plans for SAR and workflow expansion.
