A Hyland Case Study
The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) is a statewide nonprofit that supports school districts and related entities. Although TASB used the OnBase enterprise information platform, it relied on Box and other cloud hosts to share documents, resulting in cumbersome multi-step processes (download, re‑upload, resend), multiple document versions, no access visibility, and time‑consuming printing/mailing for large claims packets—creating workflow bottlenecks and security risks.
TASB implemented ShareBase with a direct OnBase connector, allowing documents to be shared straight from the workflow (often one‑click or zero‑click), enabling external parties to upload files via secure links, and automating indexing and access controls. The organization phased users from Box to ShareBase across entities, gaining faster, more secure sharing, mobile access, reduced paper and costs, and measurable efficiency and ROI improvements.
