A Hyland Case Study
Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) needed to replace slow, paper-based document handling that made retrieval, audits, retention, and customer service difficult across departments like HR, lending, and asset management. CHFA chose Hyland’s enterprise content services platform, OnBase, to digitize and manage content more efficiently.
Hyland implemented OnBase starting with HR and then expanded it across the agency, integrating it with CHFA’s in-house applications and SharePoint portals. The results were significant: document retrieval dropped from 3–12 minutes to 1–3 seconds, audits could take as little as two hours, and CHFA saves more than $1 million annually, including gains from faster access, reduced office space, and higher productivity.
