Spanish beverage manufacturer accelerates invoice management by enabling faster access and approval

Estrella Galicia, the Spanish beverage manufacturer, needed to speed up its invoice approval process, which involved multiple reviewers and a heavy daily workload of 30 to 40 invoices for department heads and directors. To address this challenge, the company worked with Hyland and its Alfresco-based document management platform to improve access and approval efficiency.

Hyland implemented a mobile-enabled invoice workflow solution that let managers review and approve or reject documents from iPad and iPhone devices in just four screens, from anywhere and at any time. The result was faster invoice handling, fewer bottlenecks, and smoother workflow management across the business, with the platform also expanding into other departments such as quality control and health and safety.
