A Hyland Case Study
Northwestern Medicine, a leading academic healthcare system, was challenged by a lack of a streamlined process for research imaging requests. Using Hyland’s Acuo vendor neutral archive (VNA), the organization needed a better way to extract, de-identify, and deliver imaging data for research programs.
Hyland implemented a centralized data delivery process with Acuo VNA that consolidates research imaging information into a single repository and supports de-identification and configurable tagging. As a result, Northwestern Medicine can now handle requests from a single image up to super-sized requests of 50,000 to 200,000 images, with turnaround times of less than a day for many requests, significantly improving speed and convenience.
