NASA center manages 2.5 TB of information with the flexible, open source Alfresco platform

NASA Langley Research Center needed a flexible way to manage and share research documents across a broad community of users, including researchers and Lockheed Martin engineers. Using Hyland’s Alfresco platform, the center supported collaboration while keeping team documents organized and accessible when users returned to the system.

Hyland implemented Alfresco to provide open-source flexibility, simplify user management, and support collaborative content access. The result was a repository holding 2.5 TB of information with more than 400 users, representing 20% user adoption growth since deployment, while also saving administrators time and improving productivity for engineers and researchers.
