RBC Capital Markets, a leading investment bank, needed a more flexible and future-proof way to digitize post-trade and other operational activities across Tax, Confirmation, and related business areas. Using Hyland’s Alfresco platform, the firm aimed to replace hard-to-maintain legacy systems and improve turnaround time, scalability, and consistency across workflows.

Hyland implemented Alfresco Content Services and Alfresco Process Services to support applications for equity trade confirmations, job mandates, market data requests, research payment allocations, regulatory audits, KYC, risk limits, and employee onboarding. The result was faster solution delivery, improved operational efficiency, and a common platform with a consistent user experience; RBC Capital Markets also expanded its Alfresco license capacity in 2018 to support future growth and continued migrating more applications to Hyland’s platform.
