A Hyland Case Study
Ullrich Aluminium Company, a 350‑employee Australian manufacturer with 25 branches, struggled with labor‑intensive accounts payable and receivable processes: branches emailed invoice images to head office, forcing AP staff to search through 200–300 emails per payment run to find and verify invoices, which was slow and error‑prone.
In 2010 Ullrich implemented OnBase integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, letting staff click an invoice line in the ERP to view the scanned image, speed approvals, verify signatures and automatically check data accuracy. The solution also lets AR instantly view customer maintenance history from linked customer cards, saving about 80 hours of staff time per week, improving accuracy and employee satisfaction with minimal maintenance.
