Kwik Trip, a family‑owned retailer with 640 locations and 21,000 employees, struggled to manage paper‑based HR files across a centralized shared‑services department. By extending its OnBase deployment into HR, Kwik Trip created a centralized digital repository with store scanners and an FTP sweep that brings documents into the system within minutes. Custom searches, online forms (replacing five Access databases), automated retention/purging rules and role‑based security improved visibility, sped processing, reclaimed office space and strengthened protection of sensitive employee records.
