Italian research agency uses Hyland's Alfresco platform to collaborate on research, experiments and ideas

The National Institute for Nuclear Physics, an Italian research agency, needed a better way to collaborate across its 25 sites and manage large volumes of research, project, and administrative content. Using Hyland’s Alfresco platform, the institute sought to improve document management, version control, and access to information for scientists, researchers, and staff.

Hyland implemented Alfresco as the institute’s single document management platform and content repository. The solution now supports project collaboration, AutoCAD engineering files, supplier and research institute contracts, invoices, and HR onboarding, with more than 2,500 users. The institute says the platform is “rock solid,” easy to use, and reduces search time, helping teams work faster and more efficiently.
