NYPIUA, the New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association, needed a modern policy and claim management solution with strong case file handling and an easy web-based interface. Working with Technology Services Group (TSG), the organization selected Hyland’s Alfresco platform to replace its older approach and improve how claims and requests were managed.
Hyland’s Alfresco platform, integrated with TSG’s HPI, OpenContent, and OpenMigrate tools, enabled third parties to submit claims through the NYPIUA website, automatically created claim folders, and uploaded email into the system. The rollout was fast—employees were proficient within two weeks—and NYPIUA gained a robust, enterprise-ready content management solution with streamlined workflows and automated document capture.
