A Hyland Case Study
American National Bank of Texas (ANBTX), a Dallas–Fort Worth community bank founded in 1875 with more than $5 billion in assets, 29 branches and 550 employees, needed a modern document management and retention strategy after their legacy system was sunset. Facing 45 integration and compliance requirements — including seamless connectivity to their Jack Henry core — the bank chose a cloud-first approach to avoid added on‑premises hardware and support ongoing solution development.
ANBTX implemented OnBase on the Hyland Cloud and added WorkView low-code tools, migrating 2.5 million documents and building automated workflows across lending, treasury and compliance. Results included cutting a daily mortgage warehouse task from two hours to under 20 minutes, reducing treasury onboarding from five days to less than one, efficiently processing PPP loan volume with remote staff, and improving regulatory controls with OCR-enabled review — delivering faster, enterprise-wide access to data and documents.
