Case Study: Western Nevada College achieves higher enrollment and more applications with Hyland OnBase

College transforms its digital application process, leading to large enrollment and application gains, with Hyland’s OnBase

Western Nevada College wanted to modernize its admissions process and create a more mobile-friendly, consistent, and accessible experience for students. Working with Hyland and its OnBase platform, the college replaced its paper-heavy application flow with a standardized digital process that could also support other forms across campus.

Hyland implemented Unity Forms in OnBase to build customizable online applications with improved security checks and accessibility features. The results were significant: applications rose from about 2,650 per year to 5,600 in the first 10 months after launch, and full-time enrollment increased 14%. Western Nevada College also reported overwhelmingly positive feedback from students and staff.
