A Hyland Case Study
The City of Westlake, Ohio, a suburb of about 30,000 residents, struggled with paper-based file rooms and manual processes that made public records hard to find, increased phone traffic and delayed responses to constituents and internal requests.
Westlake implemented the OnBase enterprise content management system, scanning planning documents, integrating OnBase with its GIS for a public access viewer and connecting it to its SunGard accounting system. The result: faster response times, online self-service access for constituents, a single source of truth for staff and reduced processing time across departments.
