Case Study: P&V Group achieves ECM and document management transformation with Hyland

Belgian insurer meets its targets with flying colors with Hyland's Alfresco platform

P&V Group, the Belgian insurer, needed to consolidate systems after a business acquisition and wanted a single ECM and DM platform that could also support future WCM needs. Working with Hyland’s Alfresco platform, the company aimed to replace its legacy environment while aligning with both short-term requirements and its long-term digital vision.

Hyland implemented the Alfresco solution with support from integration partner XeniT, including archive migration, scanning automation, and document-flow optimization. The results were strong: first-scan recognition improved from under 60% to 97%, documents are now automatically archived and available online, and more than 14 million documents are stored in the archive. The platform also enabled the Actel website migration to Alfresco WCM and supported additional web projects for P&V Group.
